The
Willows was built at the turn of the last century and overlooks the town,
with the Tate Gallery and Town Centre itself, only five minutes walk away.
We
have been closed since the beginning of 2003 in order to convert three of
our standard rooms into two rooms with en-suite facilities and also to refurbish
our public areas.
We re-opened at the end of May 2003.
Our accommodation now consists of three double bedded rooms with en-suite
facilities. The bedroom shown in the photograph can also be converted into
a twin bedded room if required.
It was interesting to return to The Willows and see the impressive progress which has taken place. The refurbished bedrooms offer high standards of comfort and quality with the available space cleverly used to optimise ease of use. In addition, the number of extra facilities provided are no doubt much appreciated by guests. Service and hospitality are great strengths with a carefully balanced blend of professionalism and informality, thus significantly enhancing the guest experience. It was reassuring to note diligent housekeeping throughout, an area which is of paramount importance within the Guest Accommodation Scheme. As a result of this visit, a classification at Four Diamonds is appropriate and throroughly deserved.
